North Country Sportsman's Club - Fun Shoot and Gun Rights Legal Action Fundraiser 6/20

If you have been following battle the North Country Sportsmen's Club (NCSC) had with the Town of Williston, the event below is a fund raising effort
for fighting a legal battle to end the town's unlawful enforcement campaign to compell the NCSC to enter into an agreement to limit range operations.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope that you all saved next Saturday 6/20/15 for our Fun Shoot Fundraiser!  It's going to be a great time and we're going to bolster the club's legal defense fund!  We are in the process of working with our attorney to get a court ruling confirming what we already know...  that the Town of Williston does not have the authority to restrict shooting at the club as they've tried to do.  The club is on the right side of the law, and we're going to win!  But, unfortunately, it's going to cost a lot of money to be right.  The result of this judgement will not only determine the future of NCSC, but the future of every shooting range in the state of Vermont.  We've already raised nearly $7000 through some very generous contributions.  Our fundraising goal for this shoot is $2000.

A flyer should be attached to this email with the event details.  In short, your $50 entry fee gets you 2 shooting tickets, 5 raffle tickets, and lunch.  Of course, contributions in addition to your entry fee (or if you are not able to attend) will be most appreciated.  This is a fundraiser, after all!  You could even take home a little "green" yourself.  Besides the raffle items, we will be holding a long bird competition after lunch.  Buy in for $10 and the winner takes home half the pot!  Again, more details about the shoot can be found on the attached flyer.

Direct any questions to Bob Otty.
