Saturday, Vermont Bearhounds Association (VBA) conducted its first 2014 NRA Women On Target
event at the Chester Rod and Gun Club. This NRA WOT event was conducted by Clint Gray with
the assistance of other volunteer instructors Stuart Coleman, NRA Instructor and Anthony Carroccio
of the Winhall Police Dept., both local Bondville, VT area residents.
During this NRA WOT event twelve women students received training on safe firearm use.
NRA WOT events are low-key training clinics, pleasant and informative for the students.
This NRA WOT event was funded by a grant made possible by the profits from Vermont's
six Friends of NRA banquets. The grant was administered by the Vermont Federation of
Sportsmen's Clubs. The federation is the NRA State Association for Vermont.
